Aberdeen’s 15 hydrogen buses still off the road after 14 months. New depot refuelling and TECA hub are ready, but no return date yet. Full update inside.

Isuzu and Toyota have revealed the ERGA FCV – their next-generation hydrogen fuel cell city bus – shown publicly for the first time ahead of its world premiere at Japan Mobility Show 2025.

Isuzu and Toyota will launch a next-generation hydrogen fuel cell route bus in 2026, built at J-Bus in Tochigi and based on Isuzu’s BEV platform with a Toyota fuel cell system.
