GeoPura has acquired key assets and personnel from Danish electrolyser manufacturer Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS), securing the future operation of its A-Series electrolyser fleet and creating a platform for European expansion.

The deal includes all spare parts, tools and fixtures for the A-Series platform, as well as former GHS engineers with expertise in design, support and operation.

GeoPura said the move ensures full continuity in running and improving its existing electrolysers, which have been in service for several years.

Danish base for European roll-out

To support the transition, GeoPura has set up its first overseas subsidiary – GeoPura (Europe) ApS – in Denmark.

The new operation will act as a hub for A-Series maintenance and upgrades, and provide a base for deploying the company’s Hydrogen Power Units (HPUs) across European markets.

CEO Andrew Cunningham said the newly recruited team “bring critical knowledge and experience” and that the move “sets the stage for our expansion into new markets.”

From diesel to hydrogen

GeoPura’s HPUs, powered by hydrogen fuel cells, are already replacing diesel generators in applications ranging from construction and events to broadcasting and infrastructure projects.

The company said the Danish site will help meet growing demand for zero-emission power solutions across the continent.
