Hy2Move: €1.4 billion EU support to drive €4.7 billion hydrogen transport boost
The EU has approved €1.4 billion in public funding for hydrogen research and mobility innovation under the IPCEI Hy2Move project. Backed by seven Member States, it aims to drive zero-emission transport with support for hydrogen-powered ships, planes, and vehicles.
BMW secures €273 million in public funding to scale hydrogen fuel cell vehicles
BMW has secured €273 million in IPCEI-backed funding from Germany and Bavaria to develop and industrialise hydrogen fuel cell powertrains for passenger vehicles through its Hy2Move project, with series production set to begin by 2028.
