Hydrogen-powered jet engine project launched by UK universities
Four leading UK universities have launched a £9.5m hydrogen jet engine project. Backed by EPSRC and major aerospace companies, the research will explore liquid hydrogen, combustion and turbine technology to support net‑zero aviation.
