Bosch is investing over $2.5 BILLION in hydrogen technology by 2026

Bosch is entering the hydrogen age of mobility. At its Stuttgart-Feuerbach location, the supplier of technology and services has now begun volume production of its fuel-cell power module.

Bosch employs more than 3,000 people in hydrogen technology development – and plans to generate sales of roughly $5.3 billion as a result by 2030.

The German bohemoth has begun volume production of its fuel-cell power module at its Stuttgart-Feuerbach location.

United States-based Nikola Corporation will serve as the pilot customer with its Class 8 hydrogen fuel cell electric truck.

Bosch started investing in H2 technology in 2021 – and expects to have spent around $2.5billion by 2026.

The company’s chairman Stefan Hartung said: “Bosch knows its way around hydrogen, and Bosch is growing with hydrogen.

“Here in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, in the plant whose history goes back further than any other Bosch plant, the hydrogen future is about to happen.”
